Adrian joined HedgeStart in November 2011 bringing over 20 years’ finance and accounting experience, the last 12 of which have been in investment management and hedge funds. He is responsible for the overall management of the accounting function and ensures our service delivery continues to meet the growing needs of our clients.

Adrian brings extensive experience of outsourced services for asset managers. He has built financial, management and regulatory reporting, and tax compliance models within the jurisdictions of the UK, Switzerland and Malta.

Prior to joining HedgeStart Adrian held a senior position with BlueGold Capital Management LLP, a c.$1.6 billion commodities and energy hedge fund. He was previously Director of Finance for Thames River Capital, an investment fund business with hedge, long only and fund of funds in equities, real estate and fixed income. During his 10 year career there, the business grew from $120 million to $11.5 billion of AUM.

Before coming to the UK in 1999, Adrian co-founded and managed the financial operations of a number of commercial ventures in the real estate sector in Australia. He completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne and an MBA with Honours from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
