Andrew joined HedgeStart in November 2002 to further develop its capabilities in delivering technology solutions. With 20 years' experience in the IT industry, Andrew has been responsible for both global and regional delivery of business critical technology solutions. He brings an in-depth understanding of both the technology needs of HedgeStart's clients as well as the practical implications of actually delivering effective technology platforms.

For the ten years prior to joining HedgeStart he worked within investment banking at UBS Warburg - latterly as Equities IT Infrastructure Manager and Senior Market Data Business Analyst. At UBS, Andrew was responsible for the delivery of IT solutions across all EMEA sites in the equity division, liaising with the business leaders on all IT infrastructure programmes. He was also responsible for market data services supplied globally to UBS Private Banking, EMEA small sites and the logistics division within Europe. Within UBS, as a Senior Customer Relationship Manager, he also managed the relationships between IT production, IT development and IT vendors, improving the development and rollout of new technologies into the production area. He had budgetary responsibility within customer services, led a 25-strong support helpdesk and ran the team delivering IT needs to rates and FX as well as providing installation and support services.
